An Inspiring Moment

One has truly said that we have no control over our past but we can improve our future and plan it significantly by rectifying our mistakes of present and improvising it to our nearest possibility. I actually think that there is a need to take initiative to see a better tomorrow; that future where we and our next generations are living a peaceful life with no hardships. Most of the people are inspired by great personalities who had brought about a change in the word by their good deeds and impressive ideologies. But this is not in my case; I deeply got inspired by just few seconds moment of my daily life where then I decided how I wanted to view my future, my country’s future, everyone’s future.
The day was 5 June 2011; the day when world every year celebrates WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY. I was returning from Dilli Haat where my school celebrated the event for five continuous days totally dedicated to a safe and clean environment that everyone dreams of! It was great fun there. So when I was returning from the event on my dad’s car. We reached the red light which was unfortunately for 3 minutes but it became more unfortunate when I saw a person just beside us opened his car window and threw a water bottle and on top of that there was some water left in it. To my astonishment I saw that he had a big car, he seemed to be well off and well educated. I was not able to endure it. Since the light was of little longer duration, so I got out of my car, pick up the bottle and went towards that man car. I knocked at his car window and asked him to take his bottle but I was bowled over when he answered in a total illiterate tone and not at all felt embarrassed and regret for his immoral action. He said that it is his property and he can do whatever he wants to, whether use or throw it! But I still tried to convince him that it is our country not our property our home our birthplace and our responsibility; and on top of that how can one waste water when some places are facing severe scarcity and dearth. I was totally shattered and requested him that it was World Environment Day and he should respect the environment; the god’s creation. We all aspire to be a part of foreign country because of their discipline life, nice and pleasing weather and on top the cleanliness and striking beauty. We are the tomorrow and how can we ruin it!!!!! Why not we make our country like a foreign country. That entire night I kept on thinking that this is the attitude of millions of people not only of my country but also of others. That night I thought what vision I hold of my future. I want to see my country flourishing, clean, beautiful, a country where everyone’s aspirations and dreams come true.
We should always abide by our great Mahatma Gandhi teaching that here is enough for everyone’s need but not for anyone’s greed. We should not allow our needs to turn into our greed because it will leave everything in ruins and then we will never view our country in the ascendant.
My ambition in my life is to become an environmentalist and bring about a change. I want that everywhere should be environment friendly infrastructure, pollution free vehicles, and strict and stern laws for those who create uncleanliness or any means of pollution. Everyone should be sensitive towards the environment and the creatures of this Earth, be responsible and have immense love towards the country that they need to progress it, beautify it as they do with their home and many other such things that will improvise the future by some steady and sturdy actions of the present.
Since today’s youth will be tomorrow’s leaders, we have to start this fight on our own, take this initiative and try to succeed in the plan. I really want to see a safe, clean and secure future for myself, for my fellow beings for the upcoming generation and also of our environment which is our god’s gift to us!
THIS IS THE FUTURE I ASPIRE OF EVERYDAY IN MY DREAMS AND WANT IT TO COME TRUE!!!!!!!!!
